The first time I saw you,I knew you were the one, That was meant for my sister, what a prize you could have won. With your shy smile and your gentleman ways, Her years with you, seemed only as days. You taught her to ride and to run with the wind, You taught her to laugh and to begin again. You taught her to dream and to reach for the sky, But Larry oh Larry you forgot... to teach her how to die. Every day since you've been gone, her road gets wearier her days are long. I depended on you to always be there, to watch over her, now I dispair. Depression has hung over this farm for too long, I will never forgive you for causing.... MY SISTER TO LOSE HER SWEET SONG. Even tho sometimes when I think of you I get mad, But most of the time in my heart I am sad. I remember the way you kissed her each morn, how your favorite clothes were tattered and torn. I remember reading News Week before you and you would just grin, As I told you the weeks news, much to your chagrin. I remember your make shift bee suit, you sure looked funny, You worked so hard on the hive and I'v yet to see honey. I remember the times you spent with Alex, shaping her future, She thought you were superman, she was so sure. I remember you and Sherry riding the trails and hollow, With Dingo by your side, he would always follow. I remember you looking like the pied-piper as you walked across your land. Every cat following you, begging for a touch from your gentle hand. I remember my wildflowers I would gather so proudly, You would laugh and call them weeds and I would declare very loudly, No these are more beautiful then you could buy in a store Then you would look at Sherry and just grin and say no more. But most of all I remember the pride you had in your home and your wife, When you were with my sister you glowed with a lust for life.
