WJOS does a local news program each week. Our news is a little different, we try to focus on positive human interest stories.

News airs every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Our news coverage area is Meigs & Gallia Co. in Ohio and Mason & Jackson Co. WV. If you have a human interest story or an event coming up and would like to have it coverage or an interview, please feel free to call.

High School Sports
WJOS does a variety of High School Sports (Football, Basketball) and we hope to keep expanding this coverage in the future.

Games are broadcast on:

Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. & Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Tri-County (Meigs, Southern, Eastern, Wahama, RiverValley)

Saturday - 12:00 p.m. & Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. Gallia Academy

Local Pastors and Churches Airing on WJOS

Pastor Mike Foreman and Pastor Emeritus Lawrence Foreman of Rejoicing Life Church, Middleport Ohio. Airs on Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

Ripley Tabernacle Church's "The Revival Hour" With Pastor Mark Siers airs Sunday at 12 p.m.

Restoration Christian Fellowship with Pastor Lonnie Coates airs Sunday at 8a.m.

Proclaim - Old Board Town Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Collins airs Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

Of Interest
Of Interest is a showcase of local talent. This features events and programs that happen in the area like Community bands, dramatists hymn sings, political debates and much more.

Of interest airs on Monday at 7:00PM.

An Evening with Dan Hayman and the Country HymnTimers - Airs on Monday at 9:00PM.
